Welcome to Nara Batik (“we,” “our,” “us”). By accessing and purchasing through narabatik.com, you (“buyer,” “customer,” or “user”) agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making any purchase.

1. General
  • These Terms & Conditions govern all purchases made on narabatik.com.

  • By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

  • Nara Batik reserves the right to update or modify these Terms without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this website.

2. Products & Authenticity
  • All batik products listed are produced in Indonesia and inspired by traditional batik craftsmanship.

  • Product details such as material, color, and pattern are described as accurately as possible. Slight variations in color or texture may occur due to handmade processes and screen display differences.

  • Certain products may be handmade (batik tulis or batik cap), while others are printed batik. Details are specified in each product description.

3. Orders & Payment
  • Orders are confirmed only after full payment is received and verified.

  • Accepted payment methods include:

  • Bank transfer (BCA, Mandiri, BNI, etc.)

  • E-wallets (GoPay, OVO, DANA)

  • Credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard)

  • Other secure online payment methods available at checkout.

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing and shipping information.

  • Any fraudulent or unauthorized payment will result in order cancellation and possible legal action.

4. Shipping & Delivery

We ship orders both domestically (within Indonesia) and internationally.

  • Shipping fees and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout.

  • Domestic orders usually arrive within 1–5 business days. International delivery may take 7–14 business days, depending on destination and customs.

  • Once an order is shipped, we will provide a tracking number via email or WhatsApp.

  • Risk of loss passes to the buyer upon delivery to the shipping carrier.

  • The buyer agrees that proof of shipment and tracking records shall serve as sufficient evidence of delivery.

5. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

We accept returns or exchanges only for: 

  1. Manufacturing defects, or

  2. Incorrect or damaged items received.

  • Claims must be made within 3 days of receiving the order.

  • Items must be unused, unwashed, and returned in their original packaging with all tags attached.

  • To request a return or exchange, contact us at info@narabatik.com or WhatsApp +6285960512299 before shipping the item back.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was faulty or incorrect.

  • Refunds (if approved) will be processed to the original payment method after the returned item is received and inspected.

  • Products sold under custom, pre-order, or clearance categories are non-returnable and non-refundable unless damaged upon arrival.

6. Chargeback & Payment Disputes
  • By completing a purchase, you agree to resolve any payment or product issue directly with Nara Batik before filing a dispute or chargeback with your bank or payment provider.

  • Chargebacks initiated for reasons other than fraud or non-delivery (e.g., “changed mind,” “did not like the motif,” or “found cheaper elsewhere”) will be considered invalid.

  • Nara Batik reserves the right to provide proof of shipment, delivery confirmation, and communication records as evidence to contest any unjustified chargeback.

  • In case of a valid chargeback, Nara Batik may deduct transaction and handling fees before issuing a refund.

7. Customs & Import Duties (for International Orders)
  • International buyers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by their respective countries.

  • Nara Batik is not liable for delays caused by customs or international courier handling.

8. Care Instructions

To maintain the quality of batik products:

  • Hand wash using mild detergent.

  • Do not bleach.

  • Dry in the shade and avoid direct sunlight.

  • Iron inside out on a low temperature.

Failure to follow these instructions may void eligibility for refunds or exchanges related to product damage.

9. Limitation of Liability
  • Nara Batik shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products or website.

  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the product in question.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.

  • Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the Bandung District Court, West Java, Indonesia.
